The Secret to Long Life by 114 Old Man

Let us tell you the story of Bernardo LaPallo. His name probably doesn’t ring a bell, because he’s not a famous person. But what’s special about him is that he is 114 years old! Here we give you the story about his secret to his long life. He says that he owes his long life to the five foods that you will read about below. He claims that by eating these foods he’s never been ill in his entire life. According to him, organic food and vegetables are the key to a long and healthy life.

In the video below he also says that his father, who lived until the age of 98, had passed onto him a recipe for a long life- which obviously worked for Bernardo as well. He credits his health to eating fruits, vegetables and organic food and pulls our focus to these 5 particular foods to which he owes his longevity:

  1. Cinnamon
  2. Honey
  3. Garlic
  4. Chocolate
  5. Olive oil

We are all more or less familiar with the nutritive value of these foods, as they are full of vitamins and minerals, so it’s no wonder that he got all the way to 114! Another factor that contributes to his long life is his good mental health. In the video below he says that besides feeding your body, you must also feed your mind and nurture your mental health. They best way to do it, he says, is reading books and doing crossword puzzles. And  we must admit that it certainly works, as we have never seen someone look so good at that age!

This story is a true wake up call to break our bad habits and start taking care of our physical and mental health. This is a true example to follow, and there’s no time like the present to start taking on some healthy habits which can help us deal with all kinds of illnesses and live a long and healthy life.
